Puri:
Puri hails from the state of Odisha and is one of the holiest Hindu sights in India. It is also one of the oldest civilizations on the Eastern Part of the country. Nestled at the mouth of Bay of Bengal, Puri is the land where Lord Jagannath (Krishna) is worshiped with full devotion. Also, it is the only place where Goddess Subhadra, the sister of Lord Jagannath and Lord Balbhadra is also worshiped. Constructed by Raja Choda Ganga Deva and Raja Tritiya Ananga Bhima Deva the main temple complex is 1000 years old and an excellent representation of architectural workmanship. The Jagannath Puri Rath yatra is an incredible festival celebrated with great devotion and excitement. Thousands of pilgrims visit Puri to offer their prayers and get rid of their long accumulated sins every year.
Rameswaram:
Adorning the tip of the Indian Penisula, Rameswaram is located in Tamil Nadu. The telltales quote this place to be the very spot from where the great Lord Ram built a setu (Ramsetu) to reach Lanka, where Ravana has kept his wife Goddess Sita after the abduction. Located on the right bank of the Gomti River, Dwarka is a revered Hindu Pilgrim. It is perched on the top of Okhamandal Peninsula and is one of the seven most religious places of India. The city is the celebrated as the Kingdom of Lord Krishna and holds a distinct place in the history of the incredible miracles that Lord Krishna performed at this place. The Dwarkadhish Temple is the most revered Krishna temple in India and every year thousands of pilgrims come to visit this auspicious place.
Badrinath
The holiest of the sights in Hindu religion, Badrinath is situated in Northern region of India.
