Almost all guides belong to the tribal communities, and are completely familiar with every cranny and nook of these dense forests. These guides are active parts of the Eco Development Project launched by the government.
This dawn to dusk rafting is companied by breakfast including bread, jam, and fruits. Travelers are served with tea, snacks, and packed lunch in route. The raft journey lastly takes one to the catchment segment of the Periyar Tiger Reserve.
