 Lambasingi nestled in the Eastern Ghats at the altitude of 1000 meters above the sea level is the only hill station of South India, where you can experience the chilly weather and sprinkling of snowfall if you happen to be lucky during that time. Located in Visakhapatnam, Lambasingi also known to be as the Kashmir of India, as here one can experience the cold-weather and mystic white- mist flowing with the wind, will make you feel no less than being in Kashmir. Popular vacation destination amongst locals and tourists from South India have given another name for Lambasingi, which is Korra Bayalu in their local language, means “if someone stays out in the open at night, by morning they would freeze like a stick!” Not just that during winter months from November to January the temperature in Lambasingi goes as low as zero degree Celsius. Also, being the only hill station in South India that sees snow, Lambasingi has many other things to offer, it is also known to be as the home to an isolated tribal community that works at the pepper and coffee plantations.
