Unimaginable Devil’s Island

No one can imagine that Devil can also have an island in his name. But, it is true if you are in French Guiana. It happens to be the smallest and northernmost isle of the three Îles du Salut, positioned more or less 6 nautical miles off the coast of French Guiana. Until 1952, it was a small part of the infamous French penal colony, identified as the Green Hell.
