Virgin London Marathon is one of the top five World Marathons and undoubtedly, one of the biggest running events in the world. The London Marathon was established and nurtured by the former Olympic champion and renowned journalist Chris Brasher.

The history of this magnanimous event dates back to 1981, when it was first organized in London on 29th March.
