Tour d’ Afrique is a worldwide cycling event that welcome maximum number of participants from different parts of the world. The present gathering accumulate in Cairo from where the actual thrill starts and pedal an average distance of 123km each day ten countries. Hence convert the impossible to possible.
In this backbreaking tour the cyclists chase a fascinating route alongside River Nile, and also cover some game reserves and past the beautiful egyptian pyramids. Once the cyclists reach Kenya they feel even more adventurous amidst Kenya’s intriguing draws like Mt. Kilimanjaro, Victoria Falls and Lake Malawi. At Last they cycle through the edges of the Kalahari and Namib deserts to reach their final destination.
By doing so these physically fit participants only want to give a message to the mankind that if possible we should make an excessive use of bicycles. It would help us save our Mother Nature from getting worse. So, come here be brave and get ready for an amazing self-discovery that brings an unforgettable experience.
Tour d’ Afrique is a risky undertaking of cycling, covering an amazing distance of about 11,718 km for 120 days. It is an annual adventure that begins in Cairo and ends in Cape Africa, and is a fundraising event highlighting environmental protection of the country and promoting the use of bicycles worldwide......
