Sunfest is an annual festival of music and performing arts that soaks the capital of Palm Beach in flavor of joy and festivity.
West Palm Beach, the largest and most populous city in the Palm Beach Country, Florida plays host to the annual festival of Sunfest. This is a a music, art, and waterfront festival in Florida that sets the mood in tune for the spectators.
It was first started in the year 1982 and since then has hosted several leading names of world entertainment arena. The list includes people and bands like Bob Dylan, The Wailers (featuring Bob Marley), Pink Floyd, Ray Charles, John Mayer and lot many.
Sunfest is truly an occasion where music meets the waterfront. Produced by the Sunfest of Palm Beach County, Inc., a private nonprofit organization is a major crowd puller for the Palm Beach. Reportedly, more than 270,000 visitors gather at this mega celebration.
Sunfest takes place in downtown West Palm Beach along Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway, extending along Flagler Drive from Banyan Boulevard to Lakeview Avenue. Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council, Division of Cultural Affairs, Florida Arts Council are the other bodies that support the cause of the Sunfest.
