Kernewek Lowender is a biennial Copper Coast Cornish-themed Festival that takes place in the primitive copper mining towns of the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. It has grown to become the largest festival in the late autumn outside Cornwall of live entertainment to take you in a world of utter happiness.

Kernewek Lowender has contributed a lot in strengthening the cordial relationship of Cornish people with different parts of the world. It proposes ‘The Big Weekend’, encompassing of three large fairs, the Classic Cavalcade of Cars and the village green fair "Fer Kernewek". It has played a vital role in promoting the state’s tourism, and the credit goes to its loads of traditional Cornish festivities, art and craft and furry dancing that jams your attention for a longer period of time.
