Day 02: Onto Belgium |Dover to Calais | Orientation Tour of Brussels
On to Dover, cross the English Channel and arrive in Calais. Then drive on to Brussels - the Elegant Capital City, also the seat of the European Union, with an air of bustling efficiency! An orientation tour takes you through picturesque medieval streets to the magnificent Gothic St. Michael's Cathedral. Walk via Galleries Saint-Hubert, the world's first shopping mall, opened in 1847, to the Grand Place, its gilded buildings making it one of the most beautiful town squares in Europe. This exquisite market square is the main tourist attraction of the city. In your free time you must sample a Belgian waffle dusted with caramelized sugar mmmm!! Time permitting, shop here for world famous Belgian lace and chocolate. No visit is complete without seeing the Mannequin Pies, which will steal your heart - this cheeky statue of a little boy, representing the "irreverent spirit" of Brussels, has drawn sightseers for centuries (photo stop). Continue your drive to Antwerp and Overnight at Hotel Scandic Antwerpen, NH Brussel or similar in Antwerp.
In Netherlands- Amsterdam- a city full of surprises! Explore Amsterdam on an exciting canal cruise, Visit Keukenhof, visit Madurodam-Holland in miniature. Then proceed to Brussels, the capital of the European Union. After a continental breakfast .Then sit back and relax in your coach as we proceed to Amsterdam. On arrival, board your glass -topped boat as we sail through the canals for an exciting canal cruise. The city’s colorful past comes alive with its 1,000 bridges and fine old houses. Next, proceed to Lisse village to visit Keukenhof - the largest spring garden in the world. Bulbs of colorful tulips bloom only till May 20th. Be enchanted by the indoor floral display and colorful flower beds amongst ancient trees.
Onto Germany-Visit the biggest the Cologne Cathedral. A romantic cruise on the River Rhine. Next, visit Alstadt in Heidelberg - with its old time appeal. This morning proceed to Cologne, the metropolis on the Rhine where on arrival you will visit the Cathedral - the first Gothic church in the Rhineland with its characteristic spires. Later drive to Bopped through the Rhine valley, along this stretch of river, there are more castles than in any other river valley in the world. Enjoy a cruise today along the 'Romantic River Rhine’. Day 05: Black forest region for a demonstration of Cuckoo clock- Vaduz Liechtenstein
Drive to Black forest region for a demonstration of Cuckoo clock. Later drive to Schaffhausen Rhine falls. Overnight in Hilton Zurich airport.
Day 06: Austria- Visit Swarovski Museum Crystal Worlds -the headquarters of crystals Orientation Of scenic Innsbruck
This morning, after breakfast, check out and Drive to Vaduz Liechtenstein. Later drive to Innsbruck for a visit to Swarovski in Witten’s and proceed to Witten’s, where you will visit the world famous Swarovski Crystal Museum. And prepare to be dazzled at the 'Chambers of Wonder’! In a wondrous blue hall dominated by a Unicom - a wall of crystal, you see the world's biggest crystal and it's smallest! Over 7 million people formal corners of the globe, have already been thrilled by the Swarovski experience - now you are one of them! Continue a scenic drive to Innsbruck. Day 07: Italy-Romantic Venice - crossed by canals and beautiful monuments. Walking City Tour of Venice
Today your journey takes you on a fascinating drive past quaint villages, medieval castles and fruit orchards, cutting across the fertile Adriatic Plains, to the magical lagoon city of Venice. The captivating canals and palaces of Venice are simply unique! Built on 117 small islands, it is a pedestrian's city, so get set for a walking tour. Cruise from Tronchetto Pier and glide romantically past fairytale palaces Disembark and walk to the Piazza San Marco (St. Marks Square). Pass the Doge's Palace, connected by the 'Bridge of Sighs’ to its prisons. It was from here that the legendary lover Casanova made his famous escape! Witness the bronze Moors striking the hour, as they have been doing for the past 500 years! End this exciting tour with a brief visit to a Murano Glass Factory where you will see a demonstration of hand blown world famous Venetian glass. Return by cruise to Tronchetto Pier. Day 08: Italy-City tour of Florence - the cradle of the Renaissance, former home of the Medicis. Pisa -Marvel at one of the wonders of the world - The Leaning Tower of Pisa. Onto Umbria After breakfast at your hotel, check out and proceed to Florence, the capital of Tuscany. Drive across the Apennine Mountains, along the Brenta River past Bologna, onto Pisa, the Hometown of Galileo and a city, which makes the most of its claim to fame - its Leaning Tower! It has leaned almost since construction first started, due to the swampy soil beneath it. At a photo stop here, note its striking beauty along with its characteristic tilt. It is the Duomo's (Cathedral) Bell Tower. Together with the Baptistery, these are all a part of the ‘Field of Miracles’. Continue to Florence, a shrine to the wonders of the Renaissance, with more artistic treasures per square meters than any other city in the world! Included in your walking tour of the city of Florence is a visit to the remarkable Duomo (when open for visitors).Besides it is the 'Gates of Paradise' - the heavenly gilded bronze doors of the Baptistery, originally a pagan temple and the open air gallery in Signoria Square. Full Day Excursion to Rome After breakfast in your hotel, sit back and relax in your coach as we drive to Rome. The Vatican City- the smallest country in the world. Rome was not built in a day'- the truth of this oft quoted adage hits you with full force, as we pack in all the 'must see' agenda into our guided panoramic highlight city tour! According to legend, Rome was founded by Romulus and Remus in 753 BC. Start your introduction to Rome. Then onto The Vatican, the smallest nation in the world! Day 10: Switzerland-Today, get set for a day full of fun and excitement as we take you to visit Geneva it’s with its beautiful scenery
Drive to Switzerland making a brief stop at Geneva, one of Switzerland's most privileged cities, said to have the second highest quality of living in the world!We begin the orientation tour with a drive to the Palais des Nations - the European Headquarters of the United Nations, and one of the most active conference centers in the world and the Musee Ariana. Be awestruck by the great white plume of the tallest fountain in Europe - the magnificent Jet d'Eau and pause for a photograph here and at the beautiful floral clock in the Jardin Anglais ! Later, we continue your drive into Central Switzerland. You will visit the Lion Monument and the Kapell Brucke (wooden bridge). Day 11: Today you have a chance to join us on an all-inclusive Alpine excursion tour to the wonderful world of Mount Titles’ in Engle berg
A breathtaking journey by cable car to a height of 3020 meters. Visit the Ice grotto. Also visit scenic Interlaken. Get set for a memorable experience. After a continental breakfast proceed to the cable car station in Engel berg for a breath taking journey by cable car through the beautiful alpine mountains with sound of the cow bells to the snow-clad peak of Mount Titles at a height of 10000 feet. On arrival at a height of 3020 meters visit the Ice Grotto, the Terrace where u can get the feel of snow. The Ice Flyer a cable car which takes you further to the playing arena for some fun games on the snow.(weather permitting ice flyer remains open). Later return back to the Engel berg station and continue your journey to Luzern. You will visit the Lion Monument and the Kapell Bruck (wooden bridge). Check out of your hotel after breakfast and proceed to the glamorous city of Paris. On arrival, check-in and relax in the comfort of your hotel. Later in the evening, a dinner awaits you at a local restaurant. Tonight, you have a chance to experience the glamor of the famous Lido Show- an unforgettable experience on your tour. It's magic! Sparkle over a glass of champagne at the Lido. Here at the most famous nightclub in the world, enjoy the 'Bonheur Show', a cabaret with extraordinary sets and extravagant costumes.
