La Tirana Religious Festivity

Held in the tranquil town of La Tirana, it is one of the most culturally vibrant festivals of Chile. It is celebrated every year on 16th July. It is the celebrations of a Catholic festival of La Virgen del Carmen. It attracts thousands of visitors not only from other cities but also from other countries as well. Between the 12th and 18th July, pilgrims provide gifts, perform music and cultural dances as offerings to their Virgin patron Saint.
