Jasper National Park is situated just north of the famous Bannff National Park and is the largest national park in Canadian Rockies. Dotted with hot springs, waterfalls, lakes and the glacier of Columbia Icefield. Jasper National Park is another natural gem in the crown of Canada. Opened in the year 1907, Jasper National Park was declared a World Heritage Site in 1984. The wildlife of the park includes elk, caribou, moose, black bear, mountain lion, wolverine and many more. Other major attractions of the park are the magnificent Mount Edith, Maligne Lake and Marmot Basin ski area. Do not forget to drive down the magnificent 230 Km highway named Icefield Parkway.
