Yak Loum

Yak Loum is a huge lake that is situated inside a 4000 year old volcanic crater. Located around 3 miles from the city of Banlung, the capital of Ratankiri province, Yak Loum is a hugely popular picnic spot for the locales. The incredible depth of the lake which is around 157 feet, makes the water in the lake absolutely clear, a sight of which itself is enough to rejuvenate you. The lake is surrounded with lush forest which is inhabited by many exotic species of birds and parrots.
