Brazil Carnival

It's next to impossible to outshine this festival in gala, pomp and vigor. Celebrated in Rio De Janeiro, the carnival transforms the entire city into one big street theater. The grand procession of floats by 18 Samba schools is the main feature of the carnival. The Samba schools are actually teams that practice round the year for this carnival. The festival is organized on the Sunday and Monday before the Ash Wednesday. The carnival starts at around 6 in the evening and continue till dawn breaks the next day. A frenzy of excitement and enjoyment looms over Sambodromo filled with more than 70000 audience.
