Fishing

Fishing has fiercely caught up with tourists to Botswana, thanks to the abundance of Tiger Fish in Okavango River. One of the very few rivers in the world that does not go on to meet a sea, Okavango River is filled with many other fresh water fishes, but it is the challenge of catching a Tiger fish that has made fishing a major sport in Botswana. Apart form January and February when the river is too low for fishing, Okavango is good for fishing throughout the year. Fishing is an option in Chobe river as well.
