Central Kalahari Game Reserve

Covering an area of 52,800 km2, Central Kalahari Game Reserve is the second largest game reserve in the world. The park was established in the year 1961 and since then has kept tight leash on poaching, thus resulting in increase in the total number of animals in the park. The animals that can be spotted here are giraffe, brown hyena, lion, leopards, cheetah, hartebeest, blue wildebeest, kudu and many more. You can choose from different ways of safari in the park like jeep safari and boat safari. There are tour operators who also organize walk safaris in the park.
