A trade organization for the travel agents and tour operators of Pakistan, Travel Agents Association of Pakistan (TAAP) is a premiere body for the travel industry of the country. It was established with a purpose of lifting the conditions of the travel agents in Pakistan with an eye on the holistic development and promotion of Pakistan as a travel destination. TAAP works as an active ally to the Tourism department of the Government and contributes significantly to the national travel industry.
TAAP has got well defined and clear mission for all their activities. TAAP endeavours to protect the interest of air travel trade and allied services and to promote tourism in Pakistan. Further, it aims to serve as a forum for raising and advocating the views of its members to the airlines, Government and other regulatory and official bodies.
Who can be its Member
The membership of TAAP is open to the travel agents, tour operators, air transport companies and several other allied travel service providers. But, however, every applicant has to fulfill the membership criteria of TAAP.
TAAP is a professionally managed organization that employs a Governing Body comprised of some very much experienced names in the industry. This body is the supervising authority of the organization. TAAP has a set of ethics and corporate values that they strictly follow and encourage the member agents to offer honest travel service to the traveller.
