Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE)

Founded in the year 1988, Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) is a non-profit professional association that aims to provide executive-level global education and peer-to-peer networking opportunities in the travel industry. ACTE tends to promote and facilitate the interests of the corporate business travel industry by updating its members on emerging issues. In present times, ACTE caters to more than 6,000 executives in over 80 countries. Further, it has regional offices in Asia-Pacific, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Middle East & Africa, and the United States.

Mission

The prime mission of ACTE is to provide global and regional leadership for the advancement of the business travel industry through the exchange of knowledge and opportunity and the pursuit of excellence. The main categories that ACTE focuses are as such- Knowledge, Networking, Representation and Advocacy and Intelligence.

Who can be its Member

The membership of ACTE is open to senior executives involved in the purchase and supply of travel services. These executives represent their respective organization which includes- private sector corporations, airlines, travel management companies, hotels, technology companies, and car rental agencies and so on. The membership is on an individual basis.

Industry Standards

ACTE performs a dual role in the travel industry by operating both as a global education and advocacy platform for industry dialogue and debate and a practical source of executive travel expertise. The activities of ACTE is supervised by an international Board of Directors with representatives from each of the six ACTE regions: Asia-Pacific, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Middle East & Africa, and the United States.
