National Flag Memorial: Rosario

Situated in Rosario, National Flag Memorial was inaugurated on 20 June 1957 which was the death anniversary of Manuel Belgrano, creator of Argentina Flag. The monument covers a total area of nearly 10,000 m and is divided into three parts; the 70 metre high tower which symbolizes Revolution of May in 1810; the civic courtyard; and Triumphal Propylaeum. On the base of the tower is kept Manuel Belgrano's crypt. Every year on June 20th, National Flag memorial hosts main celebrations of Flag Day.
