American Samoa

Hear the sounds and see the sights of stunningly diversified and vibrant culture of Polynesian life and thus relish natural sensations of Samoa in less popular tropical bliss situated halfway amid Hawaii and New Zealand.

American Samoa represents a striking group of six Polynesian islands, situated in the South Pacific with dramatic backdrop. It is unincorporated United State’s southern-most territory placed fourteen degrees below the equator, and is remarkably known as the heartthrob of Polynesia. Further, Samoa’s image changes and lies in the middle when you draw a triangle from Hawaii, Tahiti and New Zealand. However, Western Samoa, previously famous as southeast of the sovereign state of Samoa shares the same culture as that of the main territory.

Further, note that it is a part of the Samoan Islands chain, situated west of the Cook Islands, north of Tonga, approximately at the distance of about 300 miles (500kms) south of Tokelau. Additionally, the islands of the Wallis and Futuna group are positioned towards the south and its geography covers an overall area of about 200.22 km2 (77 sq mi), more or less equal to Washington, D.C.
